Showing what I've learn

Internship is in two weeks which is exciting, but nerve wrecking at the same time because with more time, you can polish your skills better. The skills I know I would have to display first would be professionalism because of the interaction with your work and getting to know the workers you will be working with using small talk, giving firm handshakes, and also how you carry yourself within a work setting. One thing I have in mind for my internship would be if I have to provide myself with my own laptop? I want to know so that way I can work on purchasing one soon if my internship cannot provide me with one. The office environment I would like to work would be one that is fair, consistent, reliable, trust worthy, and willing to work hard. A manager that I would be able to work under would be someone who is calm, cool, and collective, and at the same time that is serious when needed to, stays positive, and get great example of leadership. I would want the manger to be balance between fun and serious. What I hope to learn and accomplished at my internship is first earning a full time job there, soaked up as much knowledge being there and to learn everything they teach me there, also applying my knowledge there as well from what I've learn in learning and developing phrase, networking with different co-workers and other managers at the work site, and complete as many task and projects aas I can. I plan to stand out in internship by asking questions, getting familiar within the workplace, and adapt the best way I know how to in the work enivornment. After internship, if I don't earn the job, I plan to continue school at ccsf to earn my A.S. degree. I plan to show all what I have learn at Year Up.

Going into the New Year

On new years eve, I work in the morning time til three pm in the afternoon. At work, I expected it to be busy because of the people who do last minute shopping, would come in my store, and buy multiple hats. I was able to clock out of work early because the mall was not busy enough. When I got home, I relaxed for a little bit, took a shower, and got dress to go to church. After service, I left to Oakland to be with family. We went to a resturant that was open until midnight. There was an after gathering for people who wanted to stay longer at the resturant. I had a great time with the family and also saw some friends who work at the mall with me. Later on, I left back home and went to bed because I had work the next morning. New Years was great, and if I could repeat the day over, I would.
